Liquid Atelier is a free browser studio by Kreateur Media where you can turn mineral-inspired color into a fluid digital artwork of your own. Paint with touch, mouse, or keyboard; recolor the composition through eight palettes; freeze the movement when it feels right; and download a watermark-free PNG. No account or artwork upload is required.

Start with color, not a blank-page plan
A crystal can hold several colors at once: a dark body, a cool flash, a pale edge, a warm inclusion. Liquid Atelier begins with that kind of relationship. It does not try to copy a mineral or reproduce its physical properties. Instead, each palette turns a mineral name into an artistic color direction, then lets motion loosen the arrangement.
The eight palettes are Labradorite, Malachite, Rose quartz, Amber, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Carnelian, and Moonstone. Labradorite moves among teal, blue, and pale gold. Malachite concentrates the greens. Rose quartz softens the field with dusty pink and pearl, while Amber brings burnished gold and smoke. Amethyst adds violet and lilac; Aquamarine cools the canvas with ice blue and sea glass; Carnelian introduces ember and terracotta; and Moonstone works in pearl and silver blue.
Choosing a new palette instantly recolors the artwork already on the canvas without changing its shapes. That makes color itself editable: one composition can feel nocturnal in Labradorite, softer in Moonstone, or warmer in Carnelian while every current and curl stays in place.
How to make a composition worth keeping
Begin with one gesture rather than filling the canvas. Drag through the image with a finger or mouse, or focus the canvas and paint with the keyboard. Use Add color when you want the studio to introduce another swirl.
Select Let it flow to set the color in motion. Watch the spaces between the brightest areas: an open dark field can make the moving color feel more deliberate and leave useful room for a clock, a short line of text, or another object in a layout. Select Freeze flow as soon as the balance interests you. You can change palettes while the artwork is frozen, compare the result, and continue painting without surrendering the structure you liked.
There is no single finished state. Downloading two or three color versions of the same shapes can produce a coordinated set for different rooms, screens, seasons, or moods.
Turn one artwork into intentional décor
The PNG is the beginning of the decorative decision, not the end. Choose a format based on where the image will live:
- Landscape, 2400 × 1500 pixels: use it as a desktop background, a wide digital display, a mood-board anchor, or a source image for a horizontal print study.
- Portrait, 1350 × 2400 pixels: compose around the clock area for a phone wallpaper, test color beside a vertical wall arrangement, or prepare a tall artwork for a personal design project.
- Square, 2000 × 2000 pixels: create a social background, a digital album cover, a gift-card image, or one panel in a coordinated grid.
For a more intentional result, sample one quiet color from the artwork and repeat it nearby: in a textile, a vase, a book cover, or the mat around a print. Let the mineral palette guide the relationship without turning the room into a literal theme. The art can echo a collected stone while remaining abstract enough to stand on its own.
What stays private—and what does not stay saved
Liquid Atelier renders the painting and prepares the PNG on your device. It does not require an account and does not upload your artwork. It also does not autosave the session. Refreshing or closing the page can discard the current canvas, so download every version you want to keep before leaving.
The live creative window closes March 6, 2027 at 8:00 p.m. Miami time. The current closure is enforced by the browser clock rather than a server shutdown. The studio article, example artwork, and open-source reference can remain available after the interactive window ends.

Does Kreateur Media upload or save my artwork?
No. Rendering and export happen on your device, and the studio does not upload the artwork. There is no session autosave, so download the image before you refresh or close the page.
When does the live studio close?
The interactive window is scheduled to close March 6, 2027 at 8:00 p.m. Miami time. The browser clock currently enforces that timing; it is not a server-side shutdown.
Keep the color you made
The most personal result may come from a palette you would not normally choose. Try a cool composition, recolor it warm, and notice which version belongs in your space. When the color and movement settle into something you want to see again, open Liquid Atelier, freeze the moment, and download it.
